The People's Playlist: Vo. 18 - Monica Wilson
"I'm an environmental scientist who works as a sustainability professional. What exactly does that look like? Well, that has ranged from me being a chemist in a wastewater laboratory to traveling full-time as a consultant around the country to save our public treasured lands. In my current Architecture gig, I design high-performance buildings with the intention to promote wellness and environmental sustainability in the built environment, while protecting the natural environment.
Outside of my green thumb career, I compete locally in the sport of Olympic Weightlifting and I am also an avid Crossfitter. Due to the physical demands of training and functional fitness, I am huge on recovery, natural wellness, and yoga. Two bucket list items I crossed of this year were starting a garden and running a blog with my sisters, called thesisterhoodblog.com/.
Since my work and fitness require high energy, I enjoy music that has a vibe, stellar energy, and is empowering. My taste in music ranges from street, underground, and can also be very airy and upbeat. I also have an old soul. My playlist is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you will get! =) "
